Around this time every year I am continuously asked about which shows I'll be tuning in for when the US Fall season starts up. I try to be pretty vague because it's impossible to tell which, if any, new show I will actually end up investing in. But the truth is I have to narrow down my potential viewing options some how. Like, I don't like procedurals and I refuse to acknowledge anything created by Chuck Lorre. Most people accept that, because there are only so many hours in the day. But as soon as I say that I won't be watching NBC's Constantine because they're erasing the titular character's bisexuality, suddenly I'm being unreasonable.

Teen Wolf 4x01: Glow-Stick-Nun-Chuks
Teen
Wolf came back this week with an hour of exposition
and recapping that doesn’t make much sense and yet somehow manages to be
incredibly entertaining. Sure “Mexico” looks like it’s made out of cardboard,
they keep conveniently forgetting that wolf’s bane is poisonous for people too,
not just werewolves, and they seemed to think they were shooting a make-up
commercial rather than a television show at one point. But who cares because
the pack came together to rescue Derek and nothing else matters.

Fangirl Adventures: Harry Potter Studio Tour
It was cold and wet and raining, as it tends to be in England, but that didn't matter because nothing could reduce my excitement. The Harry Potter Studio Tour opened just after I moved back to Australia from the UK, which seemed particularly cruel but after years of waiting my time had finally come. I was going to see the magic that went into making the eight films that played such an important role in my life.

Something Resembling a Review of The Amazing Spider-Man 2
I'm running behind the times, I know. Travelling has taken up so much of my time I have fallen behind on the Pop Culture front. But I finally saw The Amazing Spider-Man 2 and now I need to vent my feels at you guys. Because maybe it's not just travelling that was preventing me from watching this film maybe I just didn't want to see that thing we all knew was going to happen happen.

UndieGirl Adventures: Celebrity Stalking Limits
Yesterday I went on one of those celebrity
home tours you get in Hollywood. I wasn’t particularly keen but the girl I met
in this hostel so I figured why not, I didn’t have anything better to do. Now don’t
get me wrong, I am totally into celebrity culture – I write excessively on this
blog about my one-sided but incredibly rewarding relationship with Tyler
Hoechlin’s abs – I also read trashy celeb magazines like their Pulitzer Prize
winners – but there was just something about this tour that made me really
uncomfortable.

Something Resembling a Review of Captain America: The Winter Soldier
Every time I walk into the cinema to see the latest instalment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe I think there is no way that this film is going to live up to the standard created by the last one. So far I have been wrong every single time (with the exception of Iron Man 2, which wasn’t even that bad). But of all of phase two Captain America: The Winter Soldier was the film I was looking forward to the most because the Cinematic Universe has turned me into a total Captain America convert in a way I never was before.
This review is mostly spoiler free but something might slip through so watch out.

Catch-Up TV: Ten Reasons to Watch Arrow
Teen
Wolf is on hiatus so I needed to get my cheesy
supernatural fix from somewhere – I figured why not give the CW’s Arrow a second chance. I watched the
first couple of episodes of Season 1 as they aired but it didn’t hook me to I
gave it up (there’s only so many shows I can watch at once). I’m kind of bummed
I didn’t stick it out because it turns out that once it found it’s groove Arrow is actually pretty awesome. Why is
it is awesome? Well here’s ten reasons just to get you started.

Talking Teen Wolf: The Frustrating Life of a Teen Wolf Fan
At the moment my Tumblr inbox is full of
people asking the same thing: “yo Undie, how come you can stay positive about Teen Wolf after all the shit?” And well
I’m not really sure how to answer that. I mean at some stage during almost
every Teen Wolf episode my head falls
into my hands as I question why I am invested in this stupid show. But at the
same time, I actually kind of love it.

Talking Teen Wolf: On Mourning Character Death And the Loss of Allison Argent
It happened, and I still haven’t really
accepted it – although I swear to goodness MTV if this is all an elaborate
trick I will hurt you, I don’t know how I am going to hurt a faceless
corporation but I will figure it out and it will suck for you. Anyway, as you
can tell I’m a little upset by what happened to Allison Argent, and I wanted to
vent share my feelings with you.

Recapturing Teen Wolf: Never Trust a Fox
Previously on Teen Wolf… Scott has the
ability to take people’s pain away. Peter has Talia’s claws, after Derek used
them to ask her a question. And Isaac can do anything now that Allison has
kissed him. Also skinny, defenseless Stiles is the nogitsune, and it attacked
the hospital.
